About Our Founders
The Founders of Pearl of the Sea Retreat are husband and wife, Dr. James M. Henslin and Mrs. Anita Henslin. Dr. Henslin earned his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Postdoctoral Fellow with the National Institutes of Mental Health.
Dr. Henslin had a vision that people who have experienced problems with drugs and other personal trauma should be treated:
